Gotta Get Back in Time!

Haven't used my blog in a while. It's been a busy year for me with the addition of little Herbie Jr to go along with Herbette. That and Mrs. Herb has kept me busy with projects around the house. All in all though, 2009 was pretty good to me...
...a little too good. I started the year out nicely by losing 50 pounds. It all went down hill
somewhere around my birthday(4/4) which also coincided with the third trimester of Mrs. Herb's pregnancy which as you may know is the "hot fudge sundae trimester". Combine that with my realization that Hard Cider is gluten free and you have
some kind of a fat ass perfect storm. Anyhow...as you can see in this recent picture of me, I've put back on nearly every ounce.

Which brings me to today. December 31st 2009. The last day of the first decade of the new millennium and the 15 year anniversary of the last time in my life that I was actually in "good shape" physically. Sure I've had times in that span where my weight has been tolerable and I've looked ok, but 1995, the year I graduated high school was the last time I was both thin and fit.
Meaning I didn't just diet, but I worked out and toned my body. Well, it's time to flip on the Flux Capacitor and go back in time.
I'm busting out the Singles soundtrack and dusting off my "Swingers" inspired wardrobe because in 2010 I intend to get back to my weight circa 1995/96 and chronicle the experience here on "Herb on Everything". I'll be enlisting the help of my wife's new camera to take pictures and measure my progress and my goal is to update the blog each Monday after I weigh in.

Tomorrow will be the first entry and initial weigh in. Tonight will be my last night of gluttony. With that in mind I need to go now and gather the ingredients for my last feast....

1 12 pack woodchuck cider
1 pepperoni pizza
6 cupcakes
1 tub of Crisco
